Role Description
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, preparing quotes, and providing product knowledge and support to clients. You will work closely with external sales teams and operations staff to ensure smooth order flow and maintain high customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience in building materials or steel who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming customer enquiries via phone and email

Prepare accurate quotes, process orders, and provide timely follow-ups

Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, fabricators, and contractors

Work collaboratively with external sales teams to support business growth

Assist in coordinating stock availability and delivery schedules

Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving

Role Requirements

Previous experience in internal sales or account management, ideally in steel, building materials, or construction products

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise tasks in a busy environment

Sound computer skills with experience in ERP or CRM systems an advantage

A customer-focused approach with attention to detail

Salary and Benefits

Base $70k - $85k + Super 12% + Bonus
