Food Safety Supervisor

Salary: $66,851.20 per annum pro rata

Closing: Friday 19 September 2025

Part Time (32 hrs 30 min p/w) – Permanent

Frank R Pullar Children’s centre is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our their team in the capacity of Food Safety Supervisor.

This role is ideal for professionals committed to promoting healthy eating habits and delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to children within our long day care services. Working across our four centres, the successful applicant will be responsible for preparing morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, while ensuring compliance with all food safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of meals for children in accordance with set menus and dietary guidelines

Adherence to the Council’s Food Safety Program and relevant legislative requirements

Maintenance of a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen setting

Sound knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to get one

Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or willingness to obtain.

HLTAID009 CPR certificate

Anaphylaxis Certificate
