We're looking for a Safety Garment Measure and Fitting Specialist to join our team, with nationwide locations, session-based working arrangements (part-time or full-time) available.
About the Role:
As a Garment Fitment Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the perfect fit of made-to-measure safety garments and specialised textile equipment for our clients—primarily Military and Law Enforcement personnel. This position combines garment fitting skills, and ability to professionally interact with people of all types and seniority, with short-term domestic travel domestically within Australia to deliver high-quality, custom-fit solutions.
Baseline security clearance is required due to working with Military and Law Enforcement personnel.
You can maintain a professional and respectful demeanour at all times.
You are friendly with everyone you meet, but you able to listen and 'read the room'
You can work unsupervised and can be relied upon to produce accurate and dependable measuring and sizing work for safety garments.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the fitting of garments, armour, and load carriage systems on customers to identify and implement necessary alterations.
Measure and mark garments for alterations; record fitting notes and communicate clearly with production teams.
Plus, and advantage (but not a prerequisite) for the role will be ability to:
Perform alterations using industrial sewing machines when required.
Manufacture textile products such as pouches, helmet covers, bags, and uniforms using industrial lockstitch and other machines.
Maintain strict quality control standards and ensure all finished products are packaged correctly.
Ensure workspace cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and adherence to all safety protocols.
Uphold the company's Integrated Management System policies relating to Quality, Compliance, and Work Health & Safety.
What We're Looking For:
Professional, friendly, highly organised person, able to interact with people in close quarters (use of measuring tape on male and female clients)
Accurately assess correct fit (with training)
Accurately record information
Ideally, have experience in garment fitting, measuring, and ideally alterations.
Potentially, have some industrial sewing experience and/or familiarity with textile production
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Availability for 6-10 days of travel per month to sites around Australia.
Australian Citizenship (may consider Permanent Resident). Other category Visa holders need not apply.
