Focus on BAU operations as an extra pair of hands to assist with anything your CFO requires. CBMS experience a must-have.

Seeking an experienced and agile finance all-rounder (must be all over CMBS) to join a small team environment to help clear a back-log of BAU financial operations and cover periods of leave.

Reporting to a CFO who has been described as a 'spectacular operator', you will join a team and be agile enough to jump in and assist in the delivery of all things APS financial operations.

Your positive, can-do approach and broad experience across credit cards, travel, internal budgets, financial processing (AP, AR), cash management, financial reporting and CBMS will make you the perfect fit for this great team.

There are a few non-negotiables in this contract. You will need to hold a minimum of an NV1 clearance and be Canberra-based as this role will require on-site attendance. While some work from home may be allowed, it's not generally how the team all work. Knowledge of, and experience using, CMBS is a must; but won't be a problem if you have the right background we are looking for.

The systems involved include TechOne and Expense8; while this is not essential to have, it will be a big plus for your application. Experience in the external budget process would also be a handy-to-have. Technical accounting qualifications are not essential, equivalent experience and a strong team player will be a better fit than simply technical skills. If you have all of those, fabulous!
