About the Role
As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play an important role in ensuring their experience is smooth, informed, and supportive. You’ll handle enquiries, process orders, and provide technical assistance with a customer-first mindset. Working closely with our warehouse, freight, and product specialists, you’ll help deliver timely solutions and maintain a high standard of service across every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, responding to enquiries via phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Process and track customer orders with precision, partnering with warehouse and freight teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. Proactively resolve issues and keep customers informed throughout their order journey.
Manage returns, credits, and adjustments promptly and professionally, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for customers while aligning with company policies.
Support customers with technical enquiries on products and applications, working closely with internal experts to provide clear solutions that meet their specific needs.
Provide insights and feedback to sales and account management teams to enhance customer experience and service delivery.
Support other tasks and projects as reasonably required.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in customer service, ideally in wholesale, retail, or distribution
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Confidence in handling complex enquiries and troubleshooting
Familiarity with ERP/order management systems (e.g., SAP)
Ability to learn and communicate technical product information
Knowledge of paint or building materials is a bonus
