Catholic Regional College Sydenham is part of the Catholic Regional College Federation of schools, which includes 7–10 Colleges at St Albans, North Keilor and Caroline Springs.
The founders of the College established a specialist senior campus to ensure students benefit from expert teachers and the widest possible range of subject offerings.
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Payroll Officer.
The Role
The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing all payroll-related functions for the College, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing. The role also provides support to staff and stakeholders on payroll matters, while contributing to process improvements, system implementation, and training initiatives within the payroll team.
- Ongoing part-time position (3 days per week)
- Commencement: as soon as possible

About You
· 3+ years’ professional payroll experience
· Strong understanding of confidentiality and ability to prioritise tasks
· High-level ICT skills (Google Suite, database management)
· Experience with ICON software (highly regarded but not essential)
· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organisational ability
· Professional, courteous manner with proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
· Capacity to work independently, with initiative and self-motivation
Highly Desirable
Previous experience working in a school environment.

Remuneration
Salary will be based on experience in accordance with the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022.
