A well-established company with a national footprint is seeking a highly capable Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand. Your new role

Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will be responsible for the complete payroll function across ANZ. Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll
  
• Managing third-party payments including Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Workcover and PAYG
  
• Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records
  
• Acting as the 'superuser' for Employment Hero payroll system
  
• Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations (month-end/year-end)
  
• Interpreting awards and industrial instruments
  
• Managing payroll queries via shared inbox
  
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
  

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll processing
  
• Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretation
  
• Proven experience using Employment Hero (highly desirable)
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  
• Clear and professional communication style
  
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
