- Level 6–7 | $91,100 – $103,500 + 12% super (pro rata)

The City of Armadale has bold ambitions for tourism growth. With the Tourism Strategy and Trails Master Plan now ready to roll out, we’re looking for someone who can turn plans into action. You’ll help deliver projects, build partnerships, and create opportunities that strengthen our local economy and community pride.
About the Role
- Driving the implementation of the City’s Tourism Strategy and Trails Master Plan, turning strategic goals into real outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with community, government, and industry stakeholders to create opportunities and deliver projects that make an impact.
- Leading and supporting projects that grow tourism, celebrate our local identity, and enhance visitor experiences.
- Coordinating working groups, collaborating across departments, and reporting to leadership to keep projects on track.
- Scoping, planning, and measuring tourism development initiatives so the City can see real results and long-term benefits.
- Championing the City’s vision by spotting opportunities, managing risks, and bringing bold ideas to life.
About You
- You care about details, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy helping others.
- You bring strong project and stakeholder management skills, along with the human touch to build trust and influence outcomes.
- You hold qualifications in Tourism, Marketing, Communications, Economic Development, Project Management or a related field.
- You’re adaptable, curious, and thrive working both independently and as part of a team.
- You’re motivated to make a meaningful impact in tourism development and for the community.
