Job Summary:

We are seeking a Qualified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team in Norwood. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent technical skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they run smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles (both petrol and diesel)

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate reports

Carry out tyre fitting, balancing, alignment, and related services

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within industry timeframes

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults

Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair timelines

Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring proper use of tools and equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent)

Experience working in a similar role within the automotive industry

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A current driver’s licence

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment is highly desirable

Ability to stay updated on industry trends and new technologies
