Join Technology & Operations, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS)
Salary range of $113,574 to $125,720 pa plus superannuation and leave loading.
Ongoing role based in the Sydney CBD, NSW
The Information Management team at DCITHS is seeking an Information Management Analyst to play a pivotal role in how we manage, protect, and share information across the Department. In this role, you’ll:
Ensure the effective management and maintenance of the Department's information systems, including Objective & Content Manager, our Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) and record keeping procedures.
Guide and support staff on best practices and procedures for information management and use of EDRMS.
Coordinate and collaborate across teams to support the creation, discovery, and protection of records.
Safeguard information by upholding confidentiality, integrity, and availability in line with Department security policies.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Information Management, you’ll be a champion for records and information management—helping to optimise the way our department stores, accesses, and leverages information.

About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
Experience in records and information management.
Experience in the operation, administrative support and system improvements of EDRM systems.
Experience in maintaining records in accordance with the State Records Act 1998 (NSW) and other relevant legislation
A customer-first approach, making information easy to access and use.
A proactive mindset, taking initiative to solve issues quickly.
Training skills, with the ability to coach staff and end users on EDRMS and departmental requirements.
Collaboration skills, working with your team to manage information assets and meet compliance obligations.
A focus on quality, supporting strong records and information practices across projects, systems, and records and information service desk operations.
Enjoy streamlining digital processes, and is passionate about supporting efficient, secure, and compliant information governance
At the centre of information management, you’ll combine technical expertise with strong communication and advisory skills—helping the Department improve day-to-day practices and drive transformation projects.
