This role sits at the heart of our People & Culture team, reporting to the P&C Manager and working closely with the Senior P&C Advisor and the wider Operations team.

You’ll be part of a dynamic function led by the CEO and supported by two Partners who are passionate about People & Culture, bringing their expertise not only from accounting and audit lens but also from their strong commitment to creating an outstanding employee experience.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Prepare, issue, and manage all employment contracts, letters, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity at all times.
  • Partner with Payroll to guarantee the accuracy of employee data and seamless processing.
  • Deliver a consistent and positive employee experience through well-executed onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Review, maintain, and update policies and procedures to remain compliant with current legislation.
  • Oversee compliance records, including right-to-work checks, visas, and professional certifications.

Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Collaborate with the broader P&C team to deliver recruitment campaigns, including scheduling, candidate communications, and associated documentation.
  • Prepare employment contracts and coordinate end-to-end onboarding logistics to ensure a smooth new hire experience for both local and global teams.
  • Monitor and maintain recruitment metrics and provide actionable insights to the P&C team to drive continuous improvement

Visa Compliance & Global Team Liaison

  • Support with visa applications and employee mobility processes to ensure compliance and smooth transitions.
  • Partner with our global/offshore teams and associated providers to coordinate onboarding, maintain accurate employee information, and foster engagement.
  • Support the P&C Manager and team in driving successful integration and connection of global/offshore staff into the wider ESV team.

HR Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and report headcount, turnover, leave, and recruitment activity.
  • Create monthly dashboards and share workforce insights to support decision-making.Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and systems.
  • Contribute to key P&C projects (policy reviews, EVP, engagement initiatives)

Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • 3+ years in HR operations or HR administration role/s.
  • Knowledge of Australian HR legislation (Fair Work, WHS, employment law).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR data reporting.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Builds positive working relationships with managers, staff, and offshore partners.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and driven to improve processes.
  • Models The ESV Way and contribute to a collaborative, enjoyable workplace.
  • Exposure to visa and mobility processes is desirable.
  • Professional services background preferred.
