People and Culture Advisor | Seven Hills | $120,000 + Super
Are you a confident HR professional looking to broaden your generalist experience in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We’re partnering with a well-established business based in Seven Hills that’s seeking a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join their collaborative team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a diverse workforce and play an integral role in embedding strong people practices, driving engagement, and contributing to meaningful organisational initiatives. The business operates in a regulated, safety-conscious environment and is known for its positive culture and continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a range of employee relations and industrial relations matters.
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
- Support performance management and professional development processes, including training and reviews.
- Contribute to the implementation and communication of HR policies and compliance frameworks.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture-building initiatives.
- Maintain HRIS records and prepare reports and data analysis to support business decisions.
- Collaborate on HR projects and support broader change initiatives.
About You:
You are a proactive and adaptable HR professional with a sound understanding of employment legislation and a passion for fostering positive workplace experiences. You enjoy working across a variety of HR functions and can confidently build relationships at all levels of an organisation.
You’ll also bring:
- Previous experience as a People and Culture advisor, HR Generalist or HRBP.
- Previous experience working with a blue collar workforce.
- Strong ER/IR experience
- Experience in Workforce Planning
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Ability to work automously and comfortably run processes solo.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and organisational capability
- A team-oriented approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS platforms (e.g ELMO).
- Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential matters
