Requirements of the Role

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience in trust accounting (residential or commercial real estate preferred).

Strong understanding of trust account compliance and relevant legislation.

Proficiency with property management/accounting software (Cirrus 8 experience highly regarded).

Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Managing daily trust accounting operations across a commercial property portfolio.

Processing trust receipts, payments, and reconciliations in line with compliance requirements.

Preparing monthly and annual trust account audits and reporting.

Liaising with property managers, landlords, and tenants to resolve trust-related queries.

Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and agency policies.
