About The Team

The Office of Quality and Standards at Murdoch University provides central services to ensure quality and compliance, develop educational policy, and manage curriculum and student integrity. Our team also maintains academic quality, compliance with policies and regulations, and enhances quality and compliance processes and data quality. Additionally, we lead strategic programs aligned with the University's vision, driving continuous improvement.

Your New Role!

You will work with the Quality Assurance and Improvement teams to support activities related to continuous improvement of academic practice. Under routine supervision you will gather, collate, and maintain information and records; conduct research and data-gathering activities; and provide operational and logistical support to quality enhancement and assurance activities.

Your Key responsibilities will include -

  • Support quality and accreditation processes by gathering, reviewing, and analysing requirements under routine supervision
  • Provide operational support for reviews, benchmarking, and improvement activities - handling data, documentations, meetings and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintain projects plans and records for quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance and effective communications across teams

This is a full-time, fixed-term role (37.5 hours per week) through to January 2027, offering a salary of $71K - $88K (pro rata), plus 17% employer superannuation.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting process stakeholders to prepare scope documentation for internal or external reviews and/or accreditation processes.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting quality assurance and enhancement driven activities and initiatives.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and negotiate constructively and collaboratively with staff across a complex organisation.
  • Excellent time management, task prioritisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, assume responsibility for tasks and resolve routine problems.
  • Flexibility to work in a complex environment, with emerging and conflicting demands.
