Contract Administrator - Commercial Fitouts | Brisbane

Experience
We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Contract Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. The ideal candidate will bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, etc.)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar commercial role
Previous experience in the Brisbane commercial fitout or construction industry
Proven capability in managing project budgets and cost forecasting with a high degree of accuracy
Strong working knowledge of Procore (essential) and other contracts/accounts management software
Clear, confident communication skills - both written and verbal
A solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to support hybrid roles or develop toward Project Management
Experience working with a Principal Contractor and understanding of contractual obligations
Responsibilities
As Contract Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our project delivery team by:
Reporting to the Operations and Project Managers with consistent project updates
Administering all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects
Managing Procore documentation, including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and correspondence
Coordinating and attending site and PCG meetings
Assisting in procurement, negotiation, and letting of subcontractor packages
Managing head contract and subcontractor variations and claims
Reviewing and administering progress claims and payments
Overseeing project close-out procedures including final accounts and handover documentation
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
