The Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our growing team and support our expansion into larger, more complex projects. This critical role will be the backbone of our project administration, ensuring seamless operations from contract execution to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management: Maintain accurate project databases, contract details, and client information
Job Cost Management: Track and monitor project costs, compile weekly cost reports, and maintain budget oversight
Contract Administration: Process contract variations, amendments, and ensure compliance with project specifications
Invoice Processing: Capture, verify, and process all project-related invoices and expenses
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive weekly client reports including operating costs and project progress
Documentation: Maintain project files, correspondence, and ensure all documentation is current and accessible
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC), and QBCC guidelines
Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project flow
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in contract administration, preferably in construction or related industry
Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and organizational skills
Proficiency in construction management software (Wunderbuild experience highly regarded)
Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and cost management
Advanced Excel skills and experience with project management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of Australian construction regulations and compliance requirements (preferred)
