Senior Contracts Administrator – Shape Landmark Projects with Factor Constructions

Factor Constructions is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our high-performance delivery team. This is an opportunity to step into a pivotal role, working across diverse, high-quality commercial and residential projects throughout Queensland.

The Role

As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be the commercial backbone of our projects—ensuring contracts are watertight, costs are controlled, and outcomes exceed expectations. Your responsibilities include:

Managing contracts, variations, progress claims, and compliance.

Leading tender and estimating processes, including bid evaluation and recommendations.

Overseeing budgets, procurement, and project schedules.

Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to drive smooth delivery.

Identifying risks, delays, and defects while maintaining robust cost control.

Maintaining contract documentation and reporting through Procore.

Partnering with project managers to deliver projects on time, on budget, and at target margins.

About You

You’ll bring commercial acumen, technical expertise, and a proactive mindset. Ideally, you have:

3+ years’ experience in contract administration (commercial construction).

Degree or Cert IV in Construction Management, Contract Administration, or equivalent (highly regarded).

Strong knowledge of contract law, project cost control, and risk management.

Ability to read drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and manage complex contracts.

Proven experience with variations, claims, and dispute resolution.

Clear communication and negotiation skills with multiple stakeholders.

Experience with Jobpac (highly regarded).
