THE COMPANY

Our client is a Brisbane based construction company that focus on high end residential and large renovation projects. Due to recent growth within the company they are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the team. Ideally this candidate will want progression as this role will be mentored into a site supervisor running multiple builds/renovations.

THE ROLE

The Contract Administrator minimizes our clients project risk and maximises its contract management strategy, helping to ensure that its contracts are effectively managed and contribute to the organization's success.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience administering projects or in similar role
• Familiarity with construction contracts, particularly Master Builders
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Experience in custom residential construction (preferred)
• Draft, review and manage client building contracts
• Prepare and administer subcontracts, purchase orders and variations
• Experience in all stages of pre and post tender contract administration, including contract development, and ongoing contracts management such as progress, variation claims
• Minimum 5 years experience working on multiple projects, ideally in a multi residential construction company or residential builder
• Previous experience in Design & Construct and Construct only projects and contracts
• Solid understanding of current WH&S Regulations
• Ability to work autonomously
• Well-presented and with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
