Our client is a well-established accounting firm based in Bondi Junction with 23 staff and 3 partners. They deliver services across accounting and taxation, SMSF, litigation, estate and succession planning, and employee share schemes. Standard 9am – 5pm hours with some flexibility

1 day WFH after initial 6 months in office

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant due to an internal move. Reporting directly to one of the partners, this role will see you managing client engagements and supervising junior team members. Your duties will include, but not limited to:

Preparing financial statements and tax returns (FBT, GST, payroll tax)

Liaising with the ATO and handling client queries

Finalising client compliance requirements across a range of industries

Supervising and mentoring junior staff

Supporting partners with ad-hoc advisory work

Your Background

To be considered for this Junior Accountant role, you will have the following skills & attributes:

4+ years of experience in a local accounting firm

Completed or near-completed CA/CPA

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to mentor junior staff
