A new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant has arisen with a well-established accounting practice in Parramatta. This firm has large firm expertise and clientele yet without the politics and impersonal approach to their day to day. They focus on Accounting, Tax and Advisory space and are a unique offering in today's professional accounting market.

Working alongside the Manager, you’ll be working in a compliance and review capacity with exposure to advisory projects. This role will require you to be involved closely with your clients in order add value to their long-term financial goals.

Some responsibilities include:

Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, SMSFs and various group structures

Attending to taxation matters including Div7A, GST, FBT & CGT

Working with clients on future business decisions including structuring, tax planning and tax strategies

Ad-hoc advice work

Train and review work of junior/intermediate accountants

Applicants:

At least 5-6+ years' business services/tax experience in a local accounting firm

CA/CPA qualified

Excellent written and verbal communication skills due to the client facing nature of role

Demonstrate strong leadership and rapport building skills
