About the role
We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at Alexander Heights Family Practice in Alexander Heights, WA 6064. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting the overall smooth operation of our medical practice.
Tuesday (10am –7pm approx..), Wednesday (7:45 am – 2pm) and Saturday (7:45 am – 12pm). (approx 18 hours a week).
Must be flexible to cover holiday, sick leave and be available to work during school holidays.
What you'll be doing
Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional manner
Manage patient appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about our practice and services
Collect and process patient registration forms and other documentation
Maintain electronic patient records and update information as needed
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
What we're looking for
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, and others in a professional and empathetic manner.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Proficiency in using medical practice management software and basic computer applications.
A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data privacy.
A positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
Must be flexible to cover holiday and sick leave.
Previous medical receptionist experience is preferred, but not essential.
Vietnamese speaking would be an advantage but is not essential.
