Join our team as a Part-Time Medical Receptionist and become a key part of our friendly, busy, and privately owned medical centre! We're looking for a happy, reliable, and experienced individual with exceptional customer service skills to take over for a valued staff member who is retiring. The start date for this role is Tuesday, 14th October 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Admin /reception duties as required

Welcome, greet and arrive patients with a smile

Collect and enter new patient details

Answering phone calls and providing solutions to the patients queries

Confirming appointments

Billing, processing private accounts

Liaising with Clinical staff

Opening and Closing Duties

Scanning

EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

Medical Reception experience in a GP setting and computer literacy essential

Experience with Best Practice medical software essential

Attention to detail a must

Exceptional customer service and telephone manner

Demonstrate initiative, time management and the ability to work under pressure

Able to navigate a computer efficiently essential

The Practice is open 8.30 to 5.30 Mon to Fri and hours can range anywhere between these times, no weekend or afterhours work offering flexible hours. We are looking for the successful candidate to work between 18hrs - 27hrs per week with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave on other days when needed.
