About the company:
Our client is a global product development and brand management business with a strong footprint in Australia. They bring products from concept to shelf across categories including technology, appliances, beauty, and lifestyle. By combining design, sourcing, logistics, and after-sales support, they deliver innovative, affordable, and trusted brands found in major retailers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the international customer service function by defining processes, workflows, service standards, and performance measures.
- Identify, implement, and refine customer service platforms, ticketing systems, and communication tools to support global operations.
- Recruit, train, and manage a customer service team (in-house or outsourced), ensuring alignment with company culture and expectations.
- Develop policies and procedures that deliver timely, consistent, and high-quality responses across international markets.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Logistics to resolve escalations, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and provide regular reporting with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Create a service framework that scales with business growth and supports international expansion.
Skills & Experience
- Experience leading customer service functions, ideally across international markets.
- Track record of establishing or restructuring service operations to improve efficiency and performance.
- Confident working with customer service platforms and related tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, train, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Skilled in process improvement and resolving complex service challenges.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Nature of contract:
It is initially a 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend beyond this up to 12 months.
