How you’ll make a difference
- This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the safety and wellbeing of all employees and creating a safe and supportive environment where employees feel valued, empowered and motivated.
- With expertise in safety and wellbeing this role will have the opportunity to design and implement innovative solutions that not only comply with regulations but enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization.
- Through collaborative leadership, this role will drive initiatives that mitigate risks, prevent incidents, and promote a proactive approach to safety across all levels of the organisation.
Our ideal candidate
- We are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to creating safe and healthy workplace environments.
- You will have demonstrated experience providing strategic and operational Safety and Wellbeing advice across a diverse organsiation.
- To be successful you will have a deep understanding of relevant WHS, OHS, rehabilitation and compensation legislation along with experience implementing health and safety systems.
- Safety and Wellbeing principles and legislation along with demonstrated experience in providing strategic and operational implementing effective programs and initiatives.
- In addition, you will have a track record of success in implementing effective programs and initiatives to drive a positive safety culture within an organization. They are adept at conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
