Our existing engineering team has already built an amazing product using .NET 8.0 Azure Cloud Service, Angular 16+, however, we’re on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer to continue to help shape the future of our platform, accelerate our development timeline, add new and exciting features and propel ourselves to the next level in enterprise document automation.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our web applications. Your expertise in C#, .NET Core, Web API, SQL database, Entity Framework, Azure Cloud Service, Azure DevOps, and Angular 16+ will play a critical role in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating scalable and efficient backend architectures and possesses a strong understanding of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain efficient and reliable web applications and RESTful APIs
using C#, .NET Core and Web API framework.

Develop compelling front-end experiences using Angular 16+

Design, develop, and optimise SQL database schemas and queries to ensure high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.

Utilise Entity Framework for object-relational mapping and database access.

Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms to protect
backend APIs.

Integrate with third-party systems and services to enable seamless data exchange.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality
with Angular-based user interfaces.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer.

Experienced in developing front-end using Angular.

Strong proficiency in C# and experience with the .NET framework.

Extensive knowledge of Web API development and RESTful principles.

Solid understanding of SQL databases and proficiency in writing efficient queries.

Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.

Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure SQL Database,
and Azure Functions.

Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or similar.

Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularly Angular, and ability to collaborate with frontend developers.

Experience with source control systems (e.g., we use Git) and agile development methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Must be a team player and work together with the team to achieve business goals.
