Manager role in a newly created renewable energy fund

$140k - $160k + Super + Bonus

An ASX listed infrastructure specialist, this high profile fund manager has a great asset base with a growth remit in place and an ambitious strategy. Headed up by someone of Australia's leading investment experts, they have an impressive finance team in place and provide an exciting environment for any ambitious accountant.

This newly recreated Finance Manager position will focus on the below objectives and is earmarked to be developed into a Financial Controller position:

Management of 1 direct report

Review of consolidated monthly reports and variance analysis

Budgeting and forecasting

Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements

Board reporting

Monthly NAV reporting

Tax compliance in conjunction with the group tax team

Risk management and internal controls

Development of new processes and procedures, as well as reporting frameworks

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 6+ years relevant experience ideally in Funds Management/Property/Energy at either Senior Accountant or Finance Manager level, preferably with some training in a Big 4/2nd tier firm. Strong technical accounting skills, experience in preparing consolidated financial statements, ability to manage senior stakeholders, and excellent commercial acumen are all key.
