About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Dental Assistant / Front Office professional to join our team at Toothkind in Deagon, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to balance work and life commitments.

As a Dental Assistant / Front Office team member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice. Your responsibilities will encompass both clinical and administrative duties, allowing you to develop a diverse skillset and contribute to the overall success of the practice.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for patients

Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols

Greeting and checking in patients, managing appointment schedules, and handling payment transactions

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information in our practice management system

Providing exceptional customer service and answering patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy

Restocking and organising dental supplies to ensure the practice is well-equipped

Collaborating with the dental team to deliver a seamless and efficient patient experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar customer-facing healthcare role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
