About the role

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Worker to join our team at Pearl Home Care Gippsland, VIC. As a casual Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and meal preparation

Providing emotional support and companionship to clients

Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition

Adhering to all safety and quality standards in the delivery of care

Collaborating with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support

Experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably in a community-based setting

Minimum 1-2 years of aged care or disability support experience is required for this position

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients

Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest standard of care. Current First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance

Working with Vulnerable People check is required for this role

Current Driver's Licence and a fully maintained, registered, and insured vehicle
