All Valve Industries is an importer and distributor of valves for the plumbing, heating and general industry, based in the Sutherland Shire. We are a family owned and managed business and have been providing high quality products for over 35 years.

The Position

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Internal Technical Sales person to join our small friendly team at our office in Kurnell.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience in the plumbing, hydraulic, valve, or industrial wholesale industry. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the objective of this position is to support our customers throughout Australia, as well as our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Because you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, it is vital that you are a "people person" and regard customer service as your number one priority.

Key accountabilities of the role include, and are not limited to;

Responding to customer enquiries

Providing technical advice and support to customers over the phone

Preparing and following up on quotations and processing sales orders

Serve a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering the suitable technical product solutions.

Developing business relationships and providing an exceptional level of customer service

Supporting external sales staff in developing and converting business/sales opportunities

Providing a high level of customer service to efficiently and effectively manage requests, complaints and other associated queries

Good understanding of systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

General administrative duties

Attributes

The successful applicant will be a professional and reliable individual with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar internal technical sales position.

You must be an excellent communicator with a customer service approach. It is essential that you have the genuine ability to build rapport with clients, create a positive impression with them and provide consistently a high level of telephone service.
