Admissions Officer

We’re looking for an experienced Admissions Officer who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with structured processes to join our Admissions team at the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT). This role mainly focuses on processing international student applications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant education regulations. It’s a role where you can have a direct and positive impact helping prospective international students take the next step in their education journey.

If you're someone who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys handling documentation and systems, and values working in a supportive and professional team this could be a great fit.

About EIT

EIT is one of the only institutes in the world dedicated exclusively to engineering education and training. We offer a range of options from diplomas to doctorates and deliver these practical, industry-relevant qualifications to students in over 140 countries, both online and on-campus.

Our work is structured, compliance-driven, and student-focused. We’re proud to offer a working environment where people are respected, processes are clear, and good work doesn’t go unnoticed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing international and domestic student applications with speed and accuracy
  • Conducting initial assessments and Genuine Student (GS) evaluations
  • Preparing letters of offer and issue Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) in line with standards
  • Maintaining accurate records in PRISMS and our student management system
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and relevant government legislation
  • Liaising with students, agents, and internal teams to manage queries and keep the enrolment journey smooth
  • Contributing to ongoing process improvements and support your team as needed

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • At least 2 years of experience in international student admissions with knowledge of GTE/GS assessments, and CoE issuance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Comfortable communicating with people from a range of cultural backgrounds
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities without cutting corners

Why Join EIT?

Flexible Work Options – We support work-life balance and offer hybrid flexibility

Professional Development – Ongoing learning through PD, workshops, and internal growth pathways

Wellbeing Focused – Access to free counselling (EAP) and a leadership team trained in mental health first aid

Inclusive Culture – Actively engaged in DEI through initiatives like our Women in Engineering Scholarship, Equity & Diversity Bursary and participation in the ‘Welcome Here’ Project

Location Perks – Central office, close to public transport and vibrant cafes

End of Trip Amenities – We have shower facilities on site for our more active commuters and gym goers

"I have worked across many industries and across many workplaces, but the praise, culture and attitude of not only my coworkers but management highlight the integrity of EIT."
