🏢 About the role
As Pentanet’s Customer Success Officer (aka PentaTech), you’re the friendly face of our brand in the field - bringing clarity, confidence, and care into our customers’ homes.
From optimising Wi-Fi and installing hardware to solving service issues with empathy and tech know-how, you’ll turn home visits into moments of real customer delight.
With the autonomy to manage your own bookings, you’ll balance independence with collaboration, working alongside our sales, support, and tech teams to deliver seamless experiences that keep our customers connected and loyal.
And because you’ll be out and about representing Pentanet, this role comes with a company car and mobile phone to keep you moving and connected - plus commission on hardware upsells to reward your impact.
💥 What you’ll do
Deliver in-home Wi-Fi setups that optimise performance, educate customers, and boost satisfaction.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues (router placement, interference, devices) and resolve with confidence.
Recommend and install hardware to add value.
Act as a trusted advocate, helping customers get the most from their Pentanet connection.
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and meet KPIs on satisfaction, conversion, and visit quality.
Follow up post-visit to ensure issues are resolved and customers feel supported.
Keep accurate notes and insights in the CRM to improve service and share feedback with the wider team.
Contribute to a safety-first culture by following best practice in the field.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM to track sales activities and follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with industry standards while upholding Pentanet’s high service standards.
Help foster a fun, inclusive, and positive team culture that reflects our values.
👀 Who we’re looking for
Essential:
A natural people person who can make complex tech simple.
Experienced in customer-facing roles - whether support, sales, or field-based.
Confident troubleshooting home internet, routers, and connected devices.
Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own schedule.
Skilled at building trust, educating customers, and leaving them smiling.
Comfortable using CRMs and digital tools for scheduling and reporting.
Holds a valid C-class driver’s licence.
Desirable:
Telco experience (Fixed Wireless, nbn, Opticomm).
Technical or IT support experience.
Familiarity with mesh Wi-Fi and smart home tech.
Open cabling licence (structured endorsement).
