An exciting opportunity awaits a detail-oriented and community-minded professional to join the Shire of Pingelly as a Finance Officer. This permanent full-time role is central to the Shire’s financial operations and offers the chance to thrive in a dynamic, multi-skilled team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions

Deliver exceptional customer service across finance and licensing services

Administer Department of Transport online licensing transactions

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role (Local Government experience preferred but not required)

High integrity and meticulous attention to detail

Strong numeracy skills and alignment with the Shire’s values

Accounting qualifications highly desirable

What We Offer

Permanent full-time position with flexible hybrid working arrangements

Total salary package between $61,344.06 – $73,727.34, including:

Cash salary up to $62,502

Up to 17% superannuation

Four weeks’ annual leave

9-day working fortnight
