Business Development Manager – Construction Tech

Are you an experienced BDM with a strong track record in construction or manufacturing sales? Or maybe you’ve built your career in a blue-collar environment and know how to close high-value deals with decision-makers who don’t waste time. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to own a national territory and drive serious results.
The Opportunity We’re partnering with a fast-growing, data-driven tech business that delivers high-value insights across the entire construction lifecycle, from planning through to project completion. Their platform is relied on by leading manufacturers and suppliers to understand exactly who’s doing what, when, and where across the building industry.
You’ll be selling annual contracts (valued up to $100k) that give manufacturers critical visibility into the market: which architect has the plans, which builder is on the project, and who the key subcontractors are. It’s a must-have tool for proactive sales teams across the construction supply chain.

The Role

• Drive new business across the eastern region (everything outside WA & NT)
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of 12-month contracts
• Collaborate with a high-performing sales team—including one of the top performers in ANZ

About You

• Proven success selling into construction, manufacturing, or other blue-collar B2B environments
• Comfortable and confident with cold calling, because you know it works
• Strong communicator who can engage and influence C-suite leaders and business owners
• Hungry, resilient, and motivated to consistently close deals and achieve big commissions
