Our client is a premium furniture brand known for delivering timeless, design-led pieces to the commercial architecture and design (A&D) industry. With a focus on quality craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetic appeal, their products are trusted by leading architects and designers for workplace, hospitality, and residential projects.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a Business Development Manager to join their small, collaborative team. This is a part-time, flexible role ideal for someone with existing A&D relationships, a passion for furniture and interiors, and a drive to grow meaningful client connections.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and establish new relationships with architects, interior designers, and specifiers
Proactively maintain and grow existing A&D relationships through consistent engagement
Deliver in-person and virtual product presentations, with a focus on VIC and NSW (occasional interstate travel)
Respond to client requests including samples, pricing, technical information, and project support
Manage project pipelines and client activity using CRM tools
Follow up on outstanding quotes and project leads
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth quoting, order fulfilment, and service delivery
Skills & Experience
Existing network across the A&D industry
Minimum 3 years in a similar role, ideally within the furniture, interiors, or design industry
Strong understanding of the A&D sector and the commercial project cycle
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Confident presenting to individuals and teams across various project stages
Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently
Comfortable using CRM and sales tracking tools
Full driver’s license preferred
