Centacare Family Services is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Finance Officer.

This part-time role is responsible for ensuring efficient processing of invoices, managing accounts payable, and providing general financial support.

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week, with a flexible working schedule which can be negotiated.

A remuneration package based on the SCHCADS Award 2010 will be offered based on skills and experience; level 3.1 of $38.65/hour plus, superannuation and salary packaging options.

Selection Criteria: Qualifications

Formal qualification or substantial professional experience in accounts administration, finance, or an appropriate relevant degree.

Proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and general financial administration in a similar role.

High level of proficiency in MYOB software, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve financial or administrative issues efficiently and accurately.

Upholds the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial and personal information.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a supportive and inclusive team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy, values, and ethos of Centacare, and the ability to work in alignment with organisational goals.

Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.

Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
