As our Accounts Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a part-time role with flexible hours, giving you the opportunity to balance work with lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with accuracy and efficiency

Entering supplier and subcontractor invoices, batching for payment and ensuring approvals are in place

Performing bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and General Ledger

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for review by the external accountant

Preparing and providing weekly job cost and progress reports

Processing fortnightly subcontractor invoices and alternate fortnightly employee pays

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

Managing shire bonds and refunds

Supporting accurate trade and supplier invoicing processes

Supporting the team with general finance and administration tasks, including phone enquiries, filing and data entry

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who brings:

Proficiency in Triumph experience highly regarded. Strong MYOB or Xero experience will also be considered, as these skills are transferable to Triumph

Previous experience in a construction accounts experience is highly advantageous

Strong Excel and MS Office skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional presentation
