Role Summary

As a Finance Manager, you will take a strategic and hands-on leadership role, overseeing a team of multiple direct and indirect reports. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Quarterly Reporting and ensuring compliance with complex legislation
• Full responsibility for effective management reporting and financial analysis
• Partnering with senior leadership to take a lead role in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Engaging with a range of stakeholders to provide key financial advice and insights
• Providing financial analysis to support new development projects, including a significant expansion
• Providing effective leadership including upskilling the finance business partnering capability within your team and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.

Skills and Requirements

We are looking for a motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented professional with leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications: CA or CPA is mandatory.
• Management accounting/finance expertise, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Background in aged care or retirement villages is highly desirable but not essential.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage/mentor a team of eight.
• Business partnering experience that fosters collaboration with operational and senior-level teams.
• A "can-do" attitude with inquisitiveness and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Willingness to dive into detailed and complex financial and regulatory matters when required.
