Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA) is a nationally recognised cultural institution and Australia’s original First Nations broadcaster. Based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, CAAMA has been creating media with and for Aboriginal people, their families and communities for over four decades.
With 12 studios and retransmission sites spanning the Northern Territory and beyond, CAAMA produces powerful, award-winning media — from FM radio to digital content and an extensive 50-year archival collection.

About the Opportunity
As Finance and Administration Manager, you will report to the CEO and manage finance operations with support from an external accounting team. This role requires someone who can step up, take initiative, and work with autonomy while working out budgets to navigating financial reports.
Your Responsibilites include:
Preparing budgets, reports, and audits
Overseeing grants, acquittals, and funder reporting
Ensuring compliance (ACNC, ORIC, ASIC, ATO)
Supporting business planning and sustainability projects
Managing contracts, insurance, and policies
Presenting financial insights to the Board
About You
We are seeking a hands-on finance leader with proven experience. While CPA qualifications are welcome, what matters most is your real-world expertise, initiative and ability to work autonomously.
We’d love to meet someone who:
Has strong finance and administration experience
Can work confidently and is eager to succeed
Balances attention to detail with strategic thinking
Thrives in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment
Brings curiosity, adaptability, and passion for impact
Prior experience with grants or not-for-profits is highly regarded — but what matters most is your drive to grow, contribute, and bring bold thinking to the table.
About the Benefits
You’ll be offered a competitive salary of $125,000 – $145,000 + super, depending on your experience. Additional benefits include:
