We are seeking a Manager, Transactional Team, to provide supervision, technical advice and support to transactional services.

About the role

As the Manager of the Transactional Team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, leading a high-performing team, and implementing systems and processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, systems integration, and operational excellence.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture.
• Ability to liaise and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
• Proven experience in financial operations, transactional services, or similar roles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial systems and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience with Technology One or similar financial systems (desirable).
• Knowledge of RMG requirements and e-invoicing practices (advantageous).
