The role
We currently have a permanent, full-time opportunity, available for a People and Culture Consultant.
In this role, you'll join a supportive and passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact across GESB. You'll play a key role in driving strategic people initiatives, partnering with leaders to address workforce matters, and delivering meaningful projects that support our organisational goals.
You'll contribute to core HR functions, with a particular focus on learning and development and performance management. This will include supporting recruitment, employee engagement, and wellbeing, while helping to shape initiatives that align with our strategic direction.
As our People and Culture Consultant, you will bring:
- Workforce strategy and analysis: Minimum of five years' experience in a generalist HR role, with responsibility for a broad range of duties and initiatives
- Employment legislation knowledge: Strong knowledge, understanding, and/or experience in HR policies, employment legislation, government policy, and industrial frameworks
- Stakeholder engagement: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships, with personal resilience to navigate challenges and deliver results
- Confidentiality and integrity: high level of personal accountability, with a proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
