About Us

Amity Health is a respected not-for-profit organisation committed to providing country people with the best possible access to health services. We work in partnership with government, non-government, and health sector organisations to deliver programs that are responsive to the changing needs of rural and remote communities.

Our work spans the Great Southern, Midwest, South-East Coastal, Goldfields, South-West and Wheatbelt regions. Our programs continue to evolve as we grow in response to the people and communities we serve.

About the Role

Based in our Albany office, this full-time role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Working closely with frontline managers and team members, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that People & Culture systems, practices, and support are aligned with legislative obligations, contemporary HR standards, and our organisational values.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

Maintaining employee records and credentialing via digital HRIS platforms.

Supporting HR policy development, internal audits, and workforce reporting.

Providing timely first-line HR advice to staff and leaders; and

Promoting a positive, inclusive and professional workplace culture.

You will also contribute to broader People & Culture projects across Amity and will lend a hand where needed to support our dynamic and evolving workforce needs.

About You

You are a confident communicator and strong organiser who brings:

Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field (or working towards).

Experience in a generalist HR role (health, education or NFP sectors advantageous).

Solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR compliance frameworks.

Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and a professional approach.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS digital platforms; and

A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support projects and operations as needed

Why Join Amity Health?

We offer:

Salary packaging benefits to increase your take-home pay.

A collaborative, high-performing team culture built on mutual respect and purpose.

Work that is diverse, meaningful and community-focused; and

Opportunities to contribute to growth, innovation and wellbeing across our services.
