About the Role
Based in our Albany office, this full-time role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Working closely with frontline managers and team members, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that People & Culture systems, practices, and support are aligned with legislative obligations, contemporary HR standards, and our organisational values.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Maintaining employee records and credentialing via digital HRIS platforms.
Supporting HR policy development, internal audits, and workforce reporting.
Providing timely first-line HR advice to staff and leaders; and
Promoting a positive, inclusive and professional workplace culture.
You will also contribute to broader People & Culture projects across Amity and will lend a hand where needed to support our dynamic and evolving workforce needs.
About You
You are a confident communicator and strong organiser who brings:
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field (or working towards).
Experience in a generalist HR role (health, education or NFP sectors advantageous).
Solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR compliance frameworks.
Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and a professional approach.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS digital platforms; and
A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support projects and operations as needed
