The role

We currently have a permanent, full-time opportunity, available for a Manager People and Culture.

In this role, you'll lead a small, passionate team committed to making a positive impact across GESB. You'll drive strategic people initiatives that support our organisational goals and foster a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Reporting to the Chief Corporate Services Officer, you'll focus on organisational development and workforce strategy, partnering with leaders to deliver contemporary people programmes and address complex workforce matters.

As our Manager People and Culture, you will bring:

  • Strategic leadership: Extensive experience in leading and managing the successful delivery of a broad range of contemporary people management services and programmes
  • Team development: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop a small team to deliver effective people services
  • Problem-solving and analysis: Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement solutions to complex challenges
  • Influential communication and collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships and effectively influence stakeholders, supported by highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
