We are seeking an exceptional Head of People and Culture to continue to help shape the future of The BUSY Group by leading people initiatives that drive performance, culture, and growth. A bit about the role…
As the Head of People and Culture, you will lead our People function and champion initiatives that align with our mission, vision, and organisational goals. You’ll be responsible for the full employee lifecycle from attracting and retaining talent to fostering a performance, values-driven culture. You’ll partner with senior leaders to drive transformation, enhance employee engagement, and ensure we remain an employer of choice.
What your week might look like...
- Partnering with leadership on workforce planning, organisational development, and change management.
- Leading initiatives that strengthen company culture, engagement, and retention.
- Overseeing talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Ensuring HR operations and payroll run seamlessly.
- Maintaining compliance with employment laws and industry best practice.
- Leveraging HR technology and data analytics to inform decision-making.
- Designing and managing competitive remuneration, benefits, and recognition frameworks.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, mediator, and coach across all levels of the business.
- Developing and deliver HR strategies that support organisational objectives.
This role is permanent full time based from our Southport Head Office.

A bit about you...
You are a strategic, people-centred leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You balance commercial acumen with empathy and have a proven ability to influence at all levels. You are known for driving change, improving processes, and building cultures where people feel valued and empowered; and you have:
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR technology systems.
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a proven track record of driving change and continuous improvement, ideally in an employment or community services setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (Bachelor or Master’s degree highly desirable)
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no outcomes
