About the role
As the National Member Relations Officer, you will report directly to the General Manager of Member Relations and be assigned to supporting state managers and or Directors to ensure critical member relationship management. Our members are our highest priority, and you will play a key role to ensure that they can draw on our services and supports to deliver positive outcomes for older people throughout the continuum of ageing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting state managers/directors in member management, member relationships, member administration, planning and strategic objectives and tasks.
Planning and coordinating state events and activities (member and industry forums, networking sessions).
Liaising with stakeholders regarding invitations, events and presentations.
Participating and/or coordinating advisory groups and/or internal committees.
Facilitating advice to members and referrals to other Ageing Australia services.
Maintaining accurate and up to date information on members
What we are looking for:
Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in engaging proactively with members daily.
Knowledge and/or a keen interest in the aged care or retirement living/seniors housing sector.
Demonstrated experience in office administration/operational support with the ability to work unsupervised.
Office IT experience - Microsoft Office Suite including MS-Teams, Zoom, CRM and social media.
Ability to support the planning, delivery and evaluation of member networking and training events.
Strong work ethic and work history that would evidence commitment to Ageing Australia values.
A desire for continuous improvement and willingness to get involved and to contribute towards a great working environment and a commitment to delighting Ageing Australia members.
