The Role

We are currently seeking 2x experienced Car Loan or Asset Finance Brokers to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating financing solutions for consumer and commercial clients

As a Car Loan / Asset Finance Broker, you will be responsible for assessing clients' financial needs, identifying suitable financing options, and guiding them through the loan application process.

Work from home Flexibility - Hybrid model - up to 3 days from home per week.

Responsibilities:

Communicating effectively with customers in a timely manner via telephone, SMS and email

Understanding and qualifying customer needs and objectives to match suitable loan options

Complete applications compliantly and selling ethically

Review and prepare applications to meet credit and lender requirements

Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions, including banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders, to negotiate favorable terms and secure competitive financing rates for clients.

Provide expert financial advice and recommendations to clients, ensuring they understand the terms and conditions of proposed financing agreements.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, underwriting, and customer service, to streamline processes and deliver a seamless experience for clients.

Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualification/Certification requirements:

Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (we are open for the right candidates with the right experience to provide this course and certification)

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have previous customer facing and or phone sales/broker experience.

Additionally, you will have:

Strong general sales ability, and the ability to negotiate and influence

Ability to connect and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people

Strong objection handling skills and creative thinking

Experience reaching and ideally exceeding both individual and team based KPIs in a sales or customer service role (either over the phone or face to face)

Previous experience in the asset finance or automotive/business finance sales sector will be highly regarded

Excellent time management skills; the ability to multi-task, prioritise and delegate.

An eye for detail to ensure we are meeting our lending obligations.
