Company: Is a global finance institution with a market leading reputation for being a great place to work.

They have a bank balance sheet and are significantly growing their corporate lending activities in: Equipment finance and Inventory finance. As our local banks seem to retract from this space to focus on property finance and smaller/non-bank lenders lack the funding to underwrite large corporate facilities, this company is well position for growth opportunities.

Opportunity: This HYBRID risk role (can be based around Australia or New Zealand) will hold a DLA. It will assess and decision: Inventory finance, Equipment finance and Cash Flow finding transactions generally from $2.0 million to $10.0 million, but often higher. Financing: Cranes, Construction, Agriculture, transport, IT, Green energy and software, and cash-flow finance related facilities

Role: Will mentor the small ticket team (under $1.0 million) and decision those deals that are exceptions to policy. Typically this role will focus on vendor referred commercial asset finance facilities between $2.0 million and $10.0 million, although some go much higher.

This person will also be a subject matter expert on how to secure Asset Loans, Chattel mortgages and Equipment leases. You may also be working on revolving lines of working capital finance to fund inventory holdings etc...

Since this will be working on the larger applications, you will also be liaising with sales around the more complex facilities and referral programs to have them structured in an appropriate way.

With a significant proportion of transactions exceeding your DLA, you will be pitching deals to the senior credit approval authority, when you cannot approve yourself.

Requirements: Candidates will be needing to show:
1. Commercial lending experience, focused on full financial cash flow credit assessment
2. Understanding of Asset Finance or Inventory Finance products and how to secure such facilities
3. Strong communication skills to present to the Credit Committee
4. Creative thinker to structure large corporate credit solutions
