Asset Finance Broker - Sydney, CBD

Our client's brokerage firm specialises in financing new & used commercial vehicles, trucks/trailers, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, unsecured finance (personal loans & business loans), invoice/debtor finance, boats/leisure goods & consumer vehicles.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Processor/Loan Specialist. As a key team member in our finance operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of loans from submission through to settlement, as well as communicating with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications/Skills we are looking for:

Strong understanding of lending policy and processes, regulations, and compliance standards.

Proficient in relevant software and lender portals, and servicing tools used in loan submissions and processing.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Have a good attitude and build relationship skills with internal team members and external stakeholders

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Proven experience in loan processing or a similar role within the finance industry

A financial services background in credit or settlements is favored in this position, but exceptional candidates with the right skill sets will be considered for the position as well.

Responsibilities:

Have sound knowledge of the lender's credit policy and settlement processes.

Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.

Review Bank Statements and Equifax credit reports

Present suitable products and loan structures that will fit the client's or broker's needs.

Ability to enter full applications for approval through to settlement.

Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the loan approval process.

Communicate with clients and brokers to collect necessary documentation and information.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Manage a high volume of loan applications while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.

You will be expected to provide a suite of knowledge and solutions to the stakeholders you speak with, aiming to help them reach their funding goals.

You will be directly supported by multiple departments and team members to ensure smooth and steady training with ongoing mentorship to ensure confidence and growth.

$80k base salary + uncapped commissions
