Overview:

As a Project Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in driving financial integrity and project success. You'll provide high-quality reporting and analysis, shape performance measures, and deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. With oversight of financial planning systems and reporting processes, you'll also champion continuous improvement to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with project leaders to provide robust financial analysis, reporting, and insights.
• Lead the development of KPIs and performance metrics to track project and financial outcomes.
• Oversee the integrity and functionality of planning and reporting systems.
• Drive improvements across policies, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across finance and project teams, influencing effective decision-making.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities, ensuring projects are financially sustainable and strategically aligned.

About You:
You're a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys partnering with stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights. With a strong foundation in financial management and reporting, you have the ability to translate data into actionable advice that drives better decision making. You're naturally curious, proactive, and confident in challenging assumptions to achieve stronger outcomes.

You will bring:

• CA/CPA qualified with proven experience in financial management within large-scale projects in infrastructure or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience defining, developing, and delivering high quality financial and management reports.
• Ability to analyse complex financial information and translate it into actionable insights.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement in processes, systems, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs and performance metrics.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and build collaborative relationships.
• Knowledge of financial planning systems, reporting tools, and relevant standards/legislation.
