Having been established for over 10 years, this consultancy is dedicated to delivering innovative engineering solutions that champion architectural intent and sustainable design. Due to growth in the business, they are now looking for an additional Senior Structural Engineer to join their established team.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you work directly with an Associate Director and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing detailed designs and specifications for structures.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and practical, and that they meet project requirements and budget constraints.
• Overseeing the construction process to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and that structures are built to specifications and standards.
• Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify and address any issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
• Coordinating junior engineers and structural modellers, providing guidance and support as needed, and delegating tasks and responsibilities.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have

• A recognized Bachelor of Engineering
• PE(Vic)
• Circa 7+ years of experience as a structural engineer in a consulting environment
• A comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and standards
• Extensive experience in the design and analysis of steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete and (ideally) PT concrete
• Strong site experience and exposure managing construction issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience liaising with a variety of project stakeholders.

• Salary and Benefits: In reward you will be offered a salary package reflective of your responsibilities and commensurate with your skills and experience, at this stage it is expected to fall between $120,000 and $140,000 however it is naturally flexible for the right candidate.
