PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Flawless Electropolishing Pty Ltd, South Dandenong, VIC 3175, is looking for a qualified and experienced Production Engineer with a background in Chemical Engineering, and at least three years of relevant work experience.

The key responsibilities include :-

Process Optimization: Responsible for optimizing the electropolishing process to ensure efficient production while maintaining high-quality standards. This includes fine-tuning parameters such as voltage, current density, electrolyte composition, temperature, and agitation to achieve desired results.

Equipment Management: Managing and maintaining electropolishing equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production. Overseeing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating repairs as needed. Selecting and installing new equipment to improve efficiency and capacity.

Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that finished parts meet specifications and customer requirements. Conducting regular inspections, performing surface analysis, and coordinating with the quality assurance team to address any issues or deviations from standards.

Process Documentation: Documenting process parameters, equipment settings, and production data to maintain accurate records and ensure reproducibility of results. This information is essential for process optimization, troubleshooting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensuring that production operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Responsible for identifying potential hazards, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring proper handling and disposal of chemicals and waste materials.

Training and Supervision: Training and supervising production personnel to ensure that they understand and adhere to established procedures and safety protocols. May provide guidance on best practices, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth operations.

Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through innovation, technology upgrades, and efficiency enhancements. Researching new materials, techniques, and equipment, as well as collaborating with other departments to implement improvements.
